Various West Seattle police calls in progress at the moment - including “numerous illegal beach fires” in the 56th/Alki vicinity, which the dispatcher was advised are being handled by the Parks Deparment “putting ‘em out right now.” But even more seasonal, in West Seattle and beyond, are tons of police calls from people who aren’t sure if they’re hearing gunshots or fireworks. Some books being published in July. Once in a while I make these types of to-read lists just to see what's coming out and as a later reference when looking for reading material, so thought I'd share one. I've listed all the cinema-related books I could find (just for you!), but the others are entirely subjective choices based on my own whims. If a title catches your interest, check your local library and favourite bookstore—and I do recommend the former, because some of these books cost ungodly

CCTV:New York,June 10/08: Police said a group of students, dismissed early from Uniondale High School during the June 10th heat wave vandalized a 7-11 store. They’re seen grabbing items off shelves and throwing items on the floor. According to police, they also stole candy and beverages from the store. Three teenagers are charged with riot and petty larceny.

What if you organization (I’ve always got the IC on my mind, but any org will do) wasn’t a hierarchy, but a browser? A basic framework that provided some core capability/service (facility, access, connectivity, production, etc.) for all, yet open enough to allow one to add functionality as needed without dramatic effort (extensions, plug ins, add-ons). I've noticed a trend in the newspaper want ads in the individual person selling their guns. I watch the newspapers every single day for this type of thing, because it's important to be better informed as an individual citizen. I used to notice all the time that guns from high-powered rifles, handguns, to sub-machine guns were always for sale.
